Field Notes

Notes:

A trio of crows were looking for food in the parking lot by the local thrift store. It seemed that one of the birds may have been injured, or just a juvenile, as the two larger crows were giving it bits of food and seemed to be watching over it. At first they didn't seem too pleased in me and my dog watching them, but they must have decided I wasn't a threat eventually because I was able to sit directly beneath the two on the telephone wire for a good 15 minutes without either of them taking off.
It should be noted that birds of the Corvidae family are my favorite to observe and photograph. Their intelligence and bravery never ceases to amaze me.
