My first thought was that it was a carnation (dianthus) but the leaves look like lampranthus. The flower is definitely part of the vine? Interesting.... Sorry I can't be more help, I hope someone on here can come up with an ID for you. :)
seems like I made only one photo of it, but I recall that the leaves where thin, narrow and pointy, and star shaped arranged around twisted, fleshy twigs. a bit like vines. You can see them in the un-cropped version blurry in the background.
I don't think so. Have you got any photos of the leaves? That might help with ID. It looks familiar, but I can't place the name.
