Tim, amazing video!! Harsha, barnacles are a kind of crustacean. Those volcano shaped things are their shells that are permanently stuck to rocks. Those diamond bits are like a door, they open up and let the animal inside feed. If you were to open up the shell, the actual animal looks a little bit like a shrimp! They're odd creatures :)
What exactly is it? I am seeing it for the first time.
