Description:

Found in the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area
It looks like it might be a male.

Habitat:

This moth is found in North America from east of the Great Plains in the United States to northern Mexico and from Manitoba eastward through central Quebec to Nova Scotia in Canada

Notes:

Saw it while hiking at Southwind Trails in the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area.
Sorry about the photo, it was taken at dusk with an iPhone.
