Field Notes

Description:

Shiny black beetle with long legs. Protonum has tiny punctures making it look rough. Elytra have shallow grooved lines. After a lot of searching, I believe this is the correct ID (but if you know it isn't please let me know!).

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to a porch light at night.
