Description:

hundreds seen in the tides washing ashore and lingering in the seaweed, but not attached. Free floating. hard gelatin texture, some areas transparent, glimpses of living and movement inside.

Habitat:

pacific ocean, first summer in 10 years of Coronado Beach that we have encountered these.
