Field Notes

Description:

First time I've seen the the pure rock dove here with the white lower back and two black bars on its pale grey wings. The tail has a black band on the end. The wild type is more and more seldom to see in its original habitat in many countries. The domestic and feral pigeons vary in colour and pattern. The rock dove is more common in Europe and Norway https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/554559023

Habitat:

In front of the house.
