Notes:

Sadly nobody cares about the big trees around. I don't think they are native to Kuwait, but they get by without using much water.
But cutting trees back, so the branches don't break, or trash could be picked up (not that that would happen in any case) means in Kuwait cutting down the whole tree.

Hi Nicole, this is an invasive species of tree on the Arabian peninsula introduced by humans. Prosopis juliflora is it's scientific name and it literally gulps down water as its roots are one of the longest reaching in the tree world and can reach down to deep water tables. Prosopis cineraria or Ghaf in Arabic (it's local cousin) is indigenous to the Arabian peninsula. Google it out :)
