Keyhole urchin, more commonly referred to as a sand dollar.
Approximately 5" long. Brown to gray in color. 5 slots. Reddish spines

Habitat:

low tide, shallow water

Notes:

Please do not take live animals from their habitat. This urchin was handled gently for the photos and replaced.
