Field Notes

Description:

A two-toned crab with purple at the front and pale sand colour at the rear half. Carapace is about 60mm across. Three notches behind eyes. Rough to touch.

Habitat:

This one was on the local beach.

Notes:

Recently dead with some rear legs missing but otherwise still retained good details like eyes and antennae. <br>
