Wow that was a great story, congrats :-) And to tell the truth my "relationship" with pigeons began with a strange story: I found pigeons almost everywhere I was going, but I've always been little scared of bird's wings, because I thought they could move suddenly ad fly over my head or face (I still am sometimes but not a real fobia). So I started to say for joke "pigeons follow and persecute me everywhere"..now, it's me that everytime I see a pigeon in every part of the world I can't miss it! I started to collect shots of Pigeons in the World
When my daughter saved a severely injured pigeon several years ago, many people we knew didn't get it -- they couldn't see pigeons as "real" wildlife. You might be interested in the story of its rescue: http://www.nrdc.org/thisgreenlife/0904.asp
