Field Notes

Description:

a gregarious species of shrike from sub saharan africa. They breed in communal nest groups during the rainy season.

Habitat:

Tarangire

Notes:

Fairly common, but for me, at least difficult to photograph as they always seem to be backlit or hiding in foliage
