Sounds like a fabulous experience!
@alicelongmartin - he was tuckered out from the chase. We were probably 25ft from it up in the tree. @KarenLoughreyRichard - I just got done working for cougar research project in the Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan. The grad student I worked for had 10 cougar collared. He is looking at habitat and prey selection of the cougars in the area. It actually has one of the highest densities of cougars in that area!
I see he has a tracking device on him so I assume he is in the wild. Awesome!
I lightened your picture and OOOH! He is not being friendly! How close were you?
