Description:

Generally called 'Leech', these Leeches (often misspelled leach or leaches) are flattened segmented worms with a sucker on both tail and mouth. They move by attaching the mouth sucker, then tail sucker, then mouth sucker, and so on, flipping along the surface similar to an inchworm. Blood sucking leeches have well Some of the leeches that feed on humans secrete a substance that has been found to be an anticoagulant.

Notes:

During monsoons, there are literally thousands of leeches all over the garden !

I agree with Phulmani. That is definitely not a leech. A leech does not have such tentacles. I have experienced those and they definitely won't pose for pictures.. will quickly start moving towards your body. Suggest you get info on slugs and id this correctly
Hey Jai that looks like a slug . It has 'feelers' or tentacles on its head, while leeches do not.
