Description:

We have loads of these little guys at the feeders every day. They are really bold & tend to hang around even when I am a few feet from them!

I think that is true of this guy Keith - he certainly wasn't getting a poor diet here!

Cardinals also rarely can be yellow too, not always due to poor diet, sometimes just genetic oddity.

They are cute little guys! This was the only one I saw with yellow feathers - he hung around most of the summer & seemed otherwise healthy!

The yellow feathers on the male's breast are unusual & rarely some males are entirely yellow instead of red possibly due to poor diet.
