Field Notes

Description:

Black and light yellow striped insect with red eyes. There's a purple iridescent dot in between the eyes. The abdomen flexes as it drinks the nectar from the flowers.

Habitat:

On a Perez's Sea Lavender plant in the backyard

Notes:
