Field Notes

Description:

large upturned palyps in a 1cm moth. Pale brown slightly-rolled wings with brown spots. Collar ringed with brown, head yellowish, Black eyes. Antenna 90 degrees out to the sides

Habitat:

under lights in a garden

Notes:

# neck ring moth. Distinguishing marks are the upturned and sickle shaped palyps (this still looks like someone in a rubber moth suit to me (especially the head!
