Field Notes

Description:

A medium sized antelope that stands about 0,9 meters tall at the shoulders, with males weighing about 60 kilograms and females about 45 kilograms. In this species, only males have horns. These can grow to a length of 0,7 meters.
Usually only a single calf is born after a gestation period of about 200 days.

Habitat:

Eastern Cape, SA
