Field Notes

Description:

About 10 days ago I discovered her in my garden. I finally got smart and observed her habits finding her favorite place to sit in the Grapefruit tree. She seems to be soaking up the sun. Next time I will ask her to turn around

Habitat:

She spends most of her time feeding in the Fire-bush which has grown into a small tree. I keep wondering if she is the one that visited for the full Summer two years ago. They normally only migrate through our area

Very nice - we have them visit up in Ohio - no other species here.
I love these little guys! :)
