large vine, large black berries very sweet when ripe; high berry production compared to any other berry in the region. Very invasive & has long sharp thorns.

Habitat:

best on the riversides and in full sun if you're looking for berries.

Notes:

Introduced around 1900 to Oregon, it's a blessing for jam and a curse for everything else.

It was an experiment: a Nikon RAW image (unaltered by the camera's programming) that I didn't touch. They tend to come out with richer detail and less glaring highlights, but a little less vivid (hence the "pastel feel"). Glad you like it.
Very lovely photo, love the different colours you captured on the berries, and the pastel feel to it. Awesome!
