Field Notes

Description:

There were no open flowers visible on the vine but I was able to get a nice shot of the fruit and the vine itself. In another spotting of mine, same vine, there were the remnants of a flower that some Japanese beetles were munching on. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7090708

Habitat:

Central to Eastern U.S.

Nice to see the fruit...too bad about the beetles, but it's probably like going to Whole Foods to eat such an exotic looking flower.
