Description:

Large mouthed fish, very colorful, camouflaging into its surroundings!

Habitat:

Spotted at Sea World, San Diego.

Notes:

The eye is the black dot at the center of the photo and just beneath it to the left is a line thats the mouth.

It was a marine tank for sure, this was taken a while ago so I can't remember specifics, but yes it's very hard to tell. I fixed the mission problem, thanks! :)
Yeah, it's very difficult to tell from this as I can hardly see what the fish even looks like... What kind of tank was it in - freshwater or marine? Tropical or temperate? It might be a scorpion fish or stone fish. Also, I don't think this belongs in the "Fall into Phenology" mission, since that is for autumn plants haha!
without a clearer picture I cannot tell you. My guess would be that it's some sort of rock fish as well. Don't quote me on it. It's just not clear enough to tell.
Does anyone have any idea of what species this fish may be?
My sister suggested this may be a rockfish and thats my only guess, but it has so much growth on it it's nearly impossible to tell
