Description:
The red maple was growing on the hillside in our area. The leaves were turning from yellow to red for the late fall. Native to KY. Common.
Habitat:
The red maple grows in many different soil types all throughout North America. It's ideal location is a moderately well-drained area that is moist, with a low to intermediate elevation.
