I have about 5-6 male Goldfinchs feeding at the same location, that is why I felt it was a female.

I'm going to throw out another suggestion based on the yellow patch on the wings: Pine Siskin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_Siskin; http://www.wbu.com/chipperwoods/photos/pinesiskin.htm. The second link actually has a siskin and a goldfinch side-by-side for comparison.

Possibly? But would like to throw this into the ring: Bairds Sparrow Ammodramus bairdii (some have a yellowish tinge) Unless you had the male Goldfinch nearby I would question the ID. (with respect David)
