Common colubrid snake of the east coast. Nonvenomous and adorable :]
Habitat:
"Found in nearly all habitats from open talus slides, cultivated fields, open canopy deciduous and coniferous forest, swamps, marshes, and bogs to dry upland hillsides and/or human habitats. Found this little guy hanging out in a fire pit near a lake, he was basking on the rocks.
