Habitat:

Eastern Cape, SA

Notes:

We were fortunate to get a tip that a young male cheetah had brought down an impala & was lying in the shade close by recovering from the chase. When we got to the spot her was still there & we were able to get the landrover within 20 feet of him.
This was one of only 3 cheetah sightings in my 6 weeks in South Africa.
