Description:

I zoomed in on another tiny 3 mm speck and couldn't believe my eyes! A gorgeous moth, orange with white stripes, black spots and a spotted fringe on the end of the wings. It also has a wild tuft of white hair on the head. The underside is banded white and orange. It stands at rest with the hind end raised in the air.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
