Habitat:

On the banks of the Withlachoochee River.

Notes:

I saw these fresh water clams , 10 years ago on the Withlachoochee River, I went back to the same spot to see if they were still there and found a lot of them. I could see that there were bird feathers around the opened shells and spotted, 1 hawk.
