Rocky reef at 8mtr depth - having his lunch

there are cases where they eat each other from different species....
I agree, but it looks a little bit odd. Just tasting its own/other children.
its probably eating those eggs...generally nudibranch lays egg from the back not from the front.....and they are known to eat other eggs of other nudibranch species...
