Rubiaceae.
Arbusto o árbol pequeño de 1-5. Tallos, peciolos y hojas pubescentes; estipulas con dos aristas cortas; inflorescencias amarillas.

Habitat:

Bosques montanos entre 1500-2500 msnm. Meseta volcánica central, Costa Rica.
