Thanks Frank! Unfortunately while we were photographing them, an entirely different (& particularly invasive!) species called idioticus redneckius managed to lose control of their air boat at speed & drive straight into the vegetation behind the nest. They then spent about 20 minutes out of the boat & in the water in their shorts & flipflops hacking up all the vegetation (& knocking nests out of trees in the process) trying to push it out! I was wondering if the baby alligators' mom would return so I would be able to get some very interesting photos!
