Field Notes

Description:

Very small moth, anterior 2/3 of folded wings are shiny yellow, posterior 1/3 dark grey. Long antenna folded back. Maybe 10mm in length - see photos for size compared to text in normal print sized book.

Habitat:

Suburban SE Queensland.

Notes:

Open window to my biodiversity rich yard so I can enjoy the jasmine and listen to the flying foxes and boobook owl just outside means even with only small light on to read brings little friends like this.
