Fiery Skipper seconded. They're quite abundant this time of year.
Because of the range and location of the photo I would think this is a Fiery Skipper. I agree with Aaron8

It looks like a large skipper! Cute little butterfly :) Nice photo, a great capture! I can never get close enough to butterflies!
