Description:

The okapi is the only known relative of the giraffe. Comparatively, the okapi's neck is much shorter but its gait is like the giraffe's. It is partially striped.
Spotted in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Habitat:

Tropical forest. Native to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It was actually a treat to even see this animal at Disney. Many people passed on by this "empty" enclosure. Patience is sometimes rewarded...
