Description:

The Map Puffer is one of the rarest puffers, and occurs in a variety of color morphs ranging from white with black stripes to bright yellow, this fish can rapidly inflate itself to surprise and hopefully scare away predators. If this technique fails, the Pufferfish will relay on a very potent toxin named tetrodotoxin (anhydrotetrodotoxin 4-epitetrodotoxin)

Habitat:

Pufferfish species are usually found near coral reefs
