Field Notes

Description:

Photo taken by Dr. Jere Woodward. Black side patches almost meet on lower breast. Long blackish tail has narrow white bars.

Habitat:

Very rare, near Mexican border. Formerly resident in dry grasslands of the southwest. Being re-introduced into the wild. This Falcon has a ID band on it's left foot.
