Field Notes

Description:

I've no idea about the proper ID for the spider, I only know it's part of the salticidae family, as I saw it jumping with this fly. I saw something out of the corner of my eye and when I realised it was a fly (didn't see the spider), I wondered if it was injured because it was walking, not flying away. Then I realised it was walking backwards! That's when I spotted the spider attached, but out of all the photos I took and tried to take, these where the only decent ones and they're not great. The spider moved very fast - don't think he wanted me stealing his breakfast!
