Description:

fairly large spider for the area, abdomen was about 1cm

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I spotted this spider with a large web strung low between 2 bushes along a trail at Baden Powell park. It was eating an ant or small fly. It kept it's legs held tight to it's body.
