Field Notes

Description:

We spent a delightful evening watching many cicadas emerge from the ground, make their way up the tree in my grandmother's yard and come out of their exoskeletons. Gorgeous! A flashlight was used to illuminate them.

Cool! I really like the second photo. I also spent a night watching a cicada emerge on my tent. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/5886574
