Description:

Eggs from our birds. From left to right: muscovy duck, Barnevelder chicken, Wyandotte chicken, ISA brown chicken, and Button quail (aka King quail).

Habitat:

Domestic birds we keep for their eggs.

Notes:

Put up for Aman, who asked if I could tell my chickens' eggs apart.

Thanks Lori and now can we see your chickens too? My Son-in-law grows them for show and so they have many, many different types of chickens and eggs.

I prefer duck eggs (as does most of Asia). My partner prefers chicken eggs, so to each their own. But the real trick is to get fresh eggs. They are so much better than store eggs. And yeah, it takes about a dozen quail eggs to make a meal.
