It can definitely be found at altitude; that's where I spotted mine too.

Well this is one of my favourite wild European flowers! I'm afraid I'm not very good with fungi: without research I'll only recognize the best known poisonous or edible ones, but I'll have a quick look at your gallery...

Oh yeah you may be right! :) I was looking for the ID for hours :>

It can bloom in the autumn as well, if the temperature is still high. However, I was checking the pictures again and I am not 100% sure about the ID because it is a wild flower, and pictures on the web are mostly of those raised in the garden.

Hayde, are you sure this is black hellebore? It looks like Parnassia palustris to me. Did you see the leaves?
