Its probably right, they are most likely native to South Africa because they were found at the Safari Park. They look right, check out this site: http://www.plantzafrica.com/plantklm/leucospcordifol.htm

I have a picture of a similar flower which corresponds to my suggestion. I may be wrong though

Lovely flowers! They belong to the genus Leucospermum I think- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucospermum
