Description:
One of three species of caterpillar in Florida that feed on oleander (Nerium oleander) plants. The resulting moth is a wasp mimic, with an iridescent blue body with white spots and bright orange wings. The hairs, or setae, on the caterpillar are harmless to humans.
Habitat:
Found in suburban Florida yard on oleander bush.
