Description:

A pair of Red-legged Honeycreepers spotted in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica.

The female is in the foreground and is mainly green, with paler, faintly streaked underparts and red-brown legs. The male is violet-blue with black wings, tail and back, and bright red legs.
