Description:

black furry monkey, long prehensile tail.

Habitat:

broad leaf forest and riparian zones

Notes:

This individual was photographed in the Community Baboon Sanctuary, where the howlers co-exist and are accepted by the villagers. They roam in their natural habitat and are found with the village moving from tree to tree in people's yard.
