Field Notes

Description:

Green tree with fuzzy new leaves and stems. There are leaves growing around stems in between main leaves and branches. Trunk is slightly copper colored. Tree has vertical shape.

Habitat:

Full sun along hiking trail near stream

Notes:

Aka Western sycamore, California plane tree, and in Spanish Aliso
