Field Notes

Description:

White flowers (not large) with yellow centers. In Florida, it blooms twice a year. Spring and Fall. Butterflies often go to it first in Spring.

Habitat:

It is actually a weed that I allow to grow until it gets unweildly. But it does not like our heat in the Summer. You can cut it back severly, but if you do not pull up the root, it comes back. You can find it along roads.
