Agreed. Some kind of assassin bug. The one pictured in your link looks a lot like one that I spotted a few weeks ago. (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6942476) I don't know much about them, but these look similar enough that I think it's a good guess that they're the same genus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reduviidae
