The Paper Kite is of Southeast Asian origin.

Notes:

From my mother's garden. This beauty kept coming back to the Egyptian starcluster flower until it finally rested on the metal fence.

Hi Anna, It does look like a black and white monarch ^_^ I saw a wiki of paper kite (Idea leuconoe) similar to my spotting except that mine has a wider black border on its wings. Probably one of the subspecies.
makes me think of a Monarch, only in black and white
