Description:

The Gerenuk is able to stand on its hind feet while feeding. This, along with its long neck, allow it to reach higher into the trees for food. All of the water that the Gerenuk uses comes from its food. It need not search out separate water sources in its arid habitat. Spotted in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Habitat:

East Africa.
